Lisa Olstein is the author of Lost Alphabet, named one of the nine best poetry books of 2009 by Library Journal, and Radio Crackling, Radio Gone, winner of the 2005 Hayden Carruth Award. New poems have appeared recently in Glitterpony, jubilat, Indiana Review, and elsewhere. Cold Satellite, an album of songs based on her lyrics and poems is forthcoming from singer-songwriter Jeffrey Foucault. She is the associate director of the MFA Program for Poets and Writers at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and co-founder, with Dara Wier and Noy Holland, of the Juniper Initiative for Literary Arts and Action.
