This evening in the laundromat, the one over by Pho Boston, where we had dinner then did laundry.

There was a television tuned to a local news channel, one of those news channels that has a few segments which are looped continuously, complete with annoying commercials, PSA's, and music.

On the weather segment, the meteorologist says: . . . early morning Futurecast, where we show you tomorrow's weather today. . . .

Can't it just be a forecast? Why Futurecast? Isn't a forecast a prediction of the future, of what is believed to occur tomorrow or on days hence?
