We're in the Berkshires for Thanksgiving. We're staying at a resort called Vacation Village in the Berkshires, across from Jiminy Peak. The slopes are visible from the window. They've been making snow since yesterday. It snowed for about an hour this morning.
Last night, we had a vegetarian Thanksgiving dinner. Wild mushroom and tempeh fricasee, garden vegetable gratin, and brioche stuffing. We were supposed to have an arugala salad with cranberries and walnuts but forgot. It took so long to make and being in a foreign kitchen didn't make it easier.
Earlier today we went to the mall to have the car checked out and had to wait for several hours. To pass the time, we went to the cinema. We watched Love and Other Drugs then sneaked in to watch Burlesque. Now I'm watching The Wizard of Oz.
I'd planned to catch up on some reading: John Woodward's Rain, Eric Baus' Tuned Droves, Matthew Rohrer's A Green Light, and Christine Hume's Alaskaphrenia. But again, I'm watching The Wizard of Oz.
